President

Dr. Ashley Prince is the President of the CLL Board. She is a board certified anesthesiologist who practiced medicine for 10 years before retiring in 2023 to focus on her family. She has a background in real estate acquisition and management of vacation rentals. Dr. Prince is a passionate advocate for inclusive education and spreading awareness of Autism in the Down Syndrome community.

Anne Gatti is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience providing tax, accounting, and consulting services. Her career began with a focus on nonprofit auditing and accounting, which sparked her interest in charitable work and community involvement. She has seen firsthand the impact that nonprofits can have. Anne is committed to helping Connections Learning Lab thrive to positively impact the lives of children in our community.

Robert Brender

Robert is currently retired but volunteering for SCORE as Assist Deputy Director of CentralDistrict. SCORE is a volunteer organization that assists entrepreneurs and nonprofits instarting or expanding their business. Previously owned and managed ComSpecInternational Inc. a software application development company for over 30 years.ComSpec created EMPOWERsis an ERP student information system for colleges anduniversities. Clients were all over the USA, and several foreign countries. Prior to thatworked for Merit Systems that build software applications and provided programmingtalent to health care, automotive and technology companies. Also worked at theCriminal Justice Institute as an analyst and at Chase Manhattan and Manufacturersbanks as an analyst.

Noelle

Noelle Fritz

Board Member

Noelle Fritz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of
Michigan-Dearborn and a Master of Education in Literacy from Kent State University. With 25
years of experience in education, she has served as a classroom teacher, coach,
interventionist, and consultant across Michigan, New York, and Ohio. Noelle Fritz has taught
grades 1 through 5 and most recently worked as a Literacy Specialist at Cranbrook Schools.
Currently, she is a lecturer at Oakland University, where she teaches undergraduate and
graduate courses in literacy. As a National Writing Project teaching consultant, Noelle is
dedicated to fostering student writing development. She is trained in Orton-Gillingham and LETRS, and her lifelong passion for learning drives her commitment to meeting each student’s
individual needs. Noelle resides in Bloomfield Hills with her husband and two teenage sons
